BooBeasties!

Rachel guessed correct - we got our BooBeasties in the mail!! When I saw Rachel had posted about getting them for her anniversary - I had to check out the shop and send the creator a message with a link to our blog, asking if she would make custom BooBeasties of MeiMei and Miko. She is so super nice and agreed! We even got custom name tags on their collars and their sizes are just a little different (MeiMei being the larger, of course).

these aren't dog toys, or really kids toys either but they are SUPER cute, very soft and EXTRA AWESOMESo, we introduced them to the girlsMiko seemed fairly unimpressed
MeiMei didn't see the resemblance
and like any other pug, the first thing they did when they got settle inwas wonder when dinner is.

Sunday Snuggle

Sundays are usually big snuggle days in our house. The girls have a much harder time wanting to follow us around as we do things around the house and opt for chillin' out together under a warm blanketand it doesn't take too long for them to lose interest in what we may be doinguntil the moment comes when they slip right back into their snuggle time togetherSo precious.

Warning - Do not Read while eating

Have you ever seen the movie "Baby Mama"? You know the part when Tiny Fey's sister is talking to her kid and asks "is that chocolate or is that poop?" and then licks it and says it's chocolate...

Well, yesterday after work I was sitting on the couch, eating my PB sammich and cuddling some pugs when I reached down between the couch cushions, to make sure I didn't leave any crumbs behind, and picked something up.

I looked at it. I smelled it. I looked at it some more (no, I did NOT lick it!) and I turned to Minus and said, "Is this poop?"

I have no idea if it was or not, but I wasn't going to take any chances!!! The likeliness of it being poop is far greater than I am comfortable with - so I pulled the carpet cleaner from the basement and went to town on the couch. Here it is after getting a good scrub down and rinse.

I still don't know if I am going to be able to lay down on it. Ever. Again.
